How I do things

Design Craft

Every detail matters to me. Pixels, typography, spacing, motion, and accessibility all shape how an interface feels.

I design to responsive grids so layouts feel intentional and consistent. The result is work that looks considered, behaves predictably, and holds up across devices.

Design Systems

I design systems that help teams move faster without losing quality. Reusable components and shared patterns create consistency and reduce friction.

I pay close attention to taxonomy, structure and semantic tokens and variables, so systems remain flexible over time.

Design Engineering

I work closely with engineering from the start. Ideas are shaped collaboratively, not handed off at the end.

By designing within real constraints, I balance form and function early. My experience with Webflow and front-end keeps my designs practical, realistic, and production ready.

Design Agnostic

I aim for consistent experiences across platforms, while respecting their differences. Devices, operating systems, and user expectations all matter.

I avoid wrappers and shortcuts in favour of native, well-considered implementations. Good design should feel natural to the platform it lives on.

Design Process

I’ve used many design frameworks, but I don’t follow them blindly. I adapt process to fit the problem.

You can reduce uncertainty, but you can’t remove it. I focus on making clear decisions, learning quickly, and revisiting ideas as understanding improves.

Design Content

Content and service define the value of a product. Design can’t fix a weak offering, and it shouldn’t try to hide one.

I focus on clarity and usefulness over surface polish. The best experiences are built on substance and improve as the product itself grows.
